New Concert Protocols

In effect for performances in December 2020 and February 2021

Social Distancing Measures

  1. Audience size will be limited to 26 or fewer attendees in December and 30 or fewer attendees in February and parties will be socially distanced. To spread audience members most effectively, the entire room will be utilized for seating, including areas where the bar, buffet and bistro tables have previously been set up.

  2. All seating will be assigned and clearly labeled with last names. You may request to be seated with another party if desired.

  3. There will be no check in. If you wish to avoid close contact with other people, simply proceed to your seat at a safe distance from other parties. The entry staircase and path will be marked with Xs to facilitate social distancing.

  4. To avoid congestion at buffet or bar, Chalkboard servers will circulate to distribute drinks and hors d’oeuvres to seated guests.

  5. At the conclusion of the concert, guests will be given instructions for exiting and reminded to follow marked Xs to assist in social distancing.

Sanitation Measures

  1. Hand sanitizer station will be available upon entry. Chairs will be sanitized before the performance.

  2. To avoid the spreading of germs from buffet utensils, Chalkboard servers will distribute hors d’oeuvres.

  3. There will not be a post-concert dessert buffet, but a dessert item will provided along with other hors d'oeuvres served before the concert.

  4. Ticket sales will be online only. There will be no sales desk or in-person ticket sales at the concerts.

  5. The Ambassador Hotel has increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in public spaces, with a focus on elevator buttons, door handles and public bathrooms.

  6. Mask wearing will be subject to local ordinances at the time of the concert. Currently, this would require guests to wear masks until reaching their seat. Masks are encouraged when you are not eating and drinking.
